CD cover pictures, what look should I go for?

~~~~~~~~
I am making a CD to sell at my gigs! (Yay, it's about time, slacker. )
So I've been playing around with my camera, taking self portraits to get an idea of the sort of shot or look I might want to achieve for the picture that will go onto my CD artwork.
I am not sure which direction to go.
( Warning, if you are tired of looking at my image at this point, I suggest you click the back button right now before scrolling down the page any further! If you keep going, there is a silly amount of ME on this post,.........................consider yourself warned.)
So, do I go with this thoughtful and deep sort of vibe?
Perhaps a little smile, I know a secret........
Clearly I can't pull off the sexy siren just out of bed look without looking goofy and riduculous,
so lets scrap this idea right out of the gate.
I'm kinda partial to this look myself, but someone would surely say its completely unprofessional.
Not sure why THAT should be a problem however, I mean, isn't this the age
of the all-natural, be yourself Dove girl ?
Ok, then, perhaps in order to 'fit in' I should consider this sort of image?
I just don't know for sure. Its all a puzzle, but it will surely come together over the next few weeks , and if you wish to throw your few cents into the soup, feel free to let me know (here or on my facebook) if you have a favorite shot!
Mucho Grassyass my friends. xox Rach
Thanks girls, I've had votes for those on Facebook too so far.
Jen, thats so nice but really, but I am so much cooler online, I don't have photoshop but I DO play with the color, brightness, saturation settings on the photos in the Windows player, so really, the pics are totally manipulated to look much more er, GLOWING than they are in truth.....;)
#6, but I would really like to know what the songs are first before I commit...It could make a difference
I like the last one. Bit of a Joan Jett thing going on.
Snap, you are such a fox! I think the "fit in" is pretty saucy...
I like the third from the bottom myself, the Dove girl one. It's got the right amount of sass.
I like the "fit in" one and the two black and whites. (Sorry it took me so long to come visit -- summer means gardening, and vacationing, and putting up a fence -- none of which allow for sitting at the computer.)
Can't wait to buy your CD!
No worries Jeanne,it's nice to see you :) I am the same way, my blog, everyone's blog, will certainly get less attention this summer. I am sure we will all re-convene when winter rolls around.
Kelly, I thought I answered this, I am so sorry. The tunes are hard for me to describe, easy listening, adult contemporary, songs? LOL I know cop-out. They are final recordings of some of my You Tube rough drafts, some re-works of old demo songs, and some songs are brand new. Not many of them, maybe six or seven, just a short sampling.
Hi Rachael.
With your amazing and stunning blue eyes, I would probably choose a colored photo.
I like the "fit-in" one myself.
